Happy Easter

13 And behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was [a]about seven miles from Jerusalem. 14 And they were talking with each other about all these things which had taken place. 15 While they were talking and discussing, Jesus Himself approached and began traveling with them. 16 But their eyes were prevented from recognizing Him. 17 And He said to them, “What are these words that you are exchanging with one another as you are walking?” And they stood still, looking sad. 18 One of them, named Cleopas, answered and said to Him, “Are You [b]the only one visiting Jerusalem and unaware of the things which have happened here in these days?” 19 And He said to them, “What things?” And they said to Him, “The things about Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word in the sight of God and all the people, 20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to the sentence of death, and crucified Him.... (please try and read the whole passages 13-34)
30 When He had reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him; and He vanished from [g]their sight... (Luke 24:13-34 KJV).
Jesus and the two disciples on the road to Emmaus

MyWord
The two men were grieving and engrossed in a discussion about Jesus’ crucifixion. Jesus saw their confusion and joined them to explain his Resurrection to them using Bible (Luke 24:27, 45) prior records on His death and resurrection.  At the end of His explanation and breaking of bread, their eyes where opened to understand the Scriptures.

My prayer for you in this season is that you receive clear perspective over every challenging issues of life you might be facing. It’s only then you’re able to understand the current events, where you are and where you are heading and your role in the overall scheme of things.

Having said that, it is my wish you begin to see the bigger picture of your life and not the current challenges. Your today will not determine your tomorrow but your attitude and response to the situation on the ground.

When you see failure and hopelessness today based on what you’re going through? You will definitely be the next failure.

On the other hand, you can choose today’s misfortunes as a stepping stone to a greater tommorow. After each fall, get up, dust yourself and keep on forging ahead, you will definitely breakthrough. The choice is yours. No condition is permanent.

Lest I forget, you are what you see.

All love,
Rita.
