Alpha Lorenzo Walker and his girlfriend Tamara Elleen Diaz were arrested on May 2 by the police detectives for trying to blackmail Stevie Wonder.
They threatened to sell to the tabloids that he, Mr Walker is the product of a relationship between Stevie and his sister unless he pays $5 million but they later settled for $10,000 instead.
According to the District Attorney Jane Robinson, walker and his girlfriend were caught in a police undercover operation.
Walker and Diaz have been charged with felony extortion. The charge stated that Walker and Diaz attempted to extort money from Stevie Wonder whose birth name is Steveland Morris.
Reliable sources said the incest story is unfounded. Walker claimed to be Wonder's nephew.
The lovers have been jailed since May 2. Both of them pleaded not guilty.
The hearing of the case, to determine whether they have a case to answer has been scheduled for May 16.
Stevie I thank God for you. I hope they get the punishment they deserve.
