Ghanians To Vote On November 7

Coat of Arms of the Republic of Ghana
Ghanians are set to elect men and women who will run the affairs of the ccountry come November 7.

The same day will also be observed as a public holiday.  According to a statement issued in Accra  by  Mr William K. Aboah, the Interior Minister Friday December 7, 2012 has been declared a statutory public holiday.

The statement, therefore, urged the general public to observe the day as such throughout the country as it marks the Farmers Day celebration.

First Friday in December every year has been set aside to mark the National Farmers Day, which is also a national holiday, however, because Ghanaians will go to the polls this year on that day, the farmers' celebration was held earlier on November 2nd.
