Judge Blocks Marriage of Argentina Woman to Twin Sister's Killer

From left to right: Victor Cingolani, Johana and Edith Casa
A judge in Argentina has blocked the marriage of a woman to the convicted killer of her twin sister.

Victor Cingolani is serving 13-year sentence of murdering girlfriend Johana Casas, a fashion model, in August 2010 but insists he is innocent and planned to marry her twin today in his prison in Santa Cruz province.

Cingolani said he wanted to wed his 22-year-old Edith Casas in jail to avert media attention. Edith strongly believes Cingolani was unjustly convicted saying ''he is a guy who will not hurt a fly.''

However, the judge suspended the wedding at last minute and said he would make a final decision on wether they could marry.

Marcelina Orellana, the mother of the twins had vowed to do everything in her power to prevent Edith from marrying her fiance, because she was not in ''full control of her mental faculties.''
