Bobby Brown in an interview with Matt Lauer in "Today" claimed he is not responsible for Whitney Houston drug addiction insisting "that was part of her life before we got together."
He said he was not on "narcotics" before he met Whitney and added she was the one who introduced him to cocaine. He only had the habit of smoking weeds and drinking beer. He exonerated himself of all blame concerning Whitney's death. "No, I wasn’t the one who got her addicted to drugs. Or, I’m not the reason she’s gone.”
He maintained he still loves Whitney Houston. It's no secret. Everybody in his family knows about how he still feels about her including his fiance.
He told Matt Lauer of NBC “Our relationship was great, I can honestly say that I love that woman with, with everything that I am. And I believe she loved me the same way.” Adding that the accusation that he is responsible for Whitney's sudden death makes him feel terrible.
Brown said he has been free of drugs for the past seven years.
Brown 43, is getting married to Alicia Etheridge next month. She is the mother of his youngest son.
Whitney Houston, 48, died o in her Beverly Hilton hotel suite Febuary 11.
There is no doubt everybody feels you prepared the ground for Whitney's untimely demise. I thought you would have kept quiet instead of trying to vindicate yourself.
If you love her the way you claim, you won't be saying she was on drugs before you met her and that she was the one who introduced you to narcotics. That doesn't sound like love.
You would have let it be for the sake of the "love" you claim to have for her. Knowing she is not here to speak for herself. Love and respect go together. Remember you walked out on her on her funeral. That doesn't show respect. You are at it again.
Mr Brown, would you explain me the difference between "narcotics" and "weeds" you said you were not on "narcotics" before you met Whitney but you were "smoking weeds and drinking beer." I am just confused.
